Cash Processing Solutions today announces the appointment of Barrie Foley as Chief Executive Officer. Based at CPS’s UK headquarters in Basingstoke, Barrie will take up his role on Thursday 7 November 2019. Barrie will replace Adam Lawrence, who has led the business for the past two years but has now decided to step down from this role for family reasons. We are grateful for all the work that Adam has done over the past two years in helping to position CPS for growth and are pleased that Adam has agreed to continue to work with the business over the coming weeks to ensure a smooth transition of leadership.
An Electrical and Electronics Engineer by background, Barrie has many years of experience across a number of international markets where he has worked for blue chip companies including Exxon, Mars, Smiths, and Invensys. Latterly, he has also accumulated significant experience of working with Private Equity owners. Much of Barries’s recent history has been in building stakeholder relationships, leading major projects and successfully developing and implementing growth strategies.
Chris Hyman, Chairman of CPS and Senior Partner at Privet Capital, commented: “I would like to thank Adam for the significant contribution he has made to CPS in his two years at the company. We understand his desire to reduce the time he is away from his family and we wish him all the very best for the future.
“We are also delighted that Barrie has agreed to join the business. This is an exciting time for CPS, and I am pleased to say that he shares our ambitious plans for the future. Barrie’s considerable experience will be of immense value as we now build on the next stage of our growth strategy.”
Commenting on his new role, Barrie said: “It is a privilege to be joining CPS; I recognise the significant journey that has been undertaken over the past three years, and I am very excited to have the opportunity to play my part in growing such a dynamic and entrepreneurial business”
